what year is this trek 2300 composite road bike, and is it worth the price?
I am new to cycling, don’t know a single thing about it, but is this bike worth it/good for 400$
it is a trek 2300 single speed carbon fiber
with the following specs
Trek 2300 Road Bike
- 58cm
- Dura Ace brake
- Sella Italia saddle
- Rolf Vector Pro deep V rims
- Michelin Pro road tires
That frame is quite old, about 15 years. The single speed conversion reduces the value. This was one of Trek’s first attempts building carbon fiber frames, they were somewhat prone to failure. The bike is not worth the asking price.
