i want to buy a cheap road cycle to go to and from work on.?
i have one in mind but its out of my catalogue. would this be any good? spec is below.

It’s difficult to tell really because the details they give are a little sparse. One thing against it is the size, 30-36″, no normal manufacturer would have a “one size fits all” like that.
In the same price range are the Dawes Giro 200

which are fairly solid bikes.
If it is for commuting to work and back there are probably better options available. You want something with rack mountings at the back for carrying luggage and although racing tyres are great for speed they are not so good for comfort, a 32 or 37mm tyre would be better. It’s a bit more costly but this actually looks a pretty good bike for the price
