How do I fix my computer desk ‘ball-bearing slide’ shelf?
The shelf that my keyboard sits on has broken. It’s one that you can slide in and out. I have the bits of metal and (most of!) the ball-bearings, but no idea how I fix it! Does anyone know, or can they point me at a website that will tell me?
You can buy a new set of tracks – take it apart, and take one of the tracks with you to home depot or someplace, and you should be able to find something that will work.
If you can’t find some identical – then you might have to modify something to do it, but they are pretty straightforward.
