Keep your bike healthy
Buying a good bike is important, but keeping it in Good Condition is even more important. Maintenance is as important as performance. While purchasing a new bike one tends to focus on knowing the features of the bike, but it is equally important to be informed about the techniques of maintaining a good condition of the bike. Below given are some tips for the same.
Keep your bike’s carburetor clean. Your motorcycle carburetor may look complicated to you but, with little practice you will be able to tune your bike to maximum performance. Remember to remove fuel from carburetor and do take care of small parts while disassembling carburetor. Use a good cleaner to clean carburetor. There is one golden rule in this practice “Do not open the things that you can’t close.” Same is applicable for the motorcycle helmets.
Use good quality mobile oil for bike. One should also use good quality fuel for motorbike. Low quality fuel can harm the engine as well as reduce the performance and mileage. A good quality joe rocket jacket also gives good experience.
Clean the spark plug regularly. It helps in saving fuel and provides a quick and good start
Keep your bike chains well greased. The chains should not be loose as this degrades performance and produces noise. The chains should also not be very tight. Greater tension in chains than optimum may lead to its break-down. Moreover, it is essential to keep your bell helmets clean.
Get your motorcycle serviced after completing 3000 miles and cleanse the air filters as well.
Performance also rolls in the tiers. They are one of the major key-point in overall performance and riding experience. One should use only good tiers for performance and safety point of view. Old tiers must be replaced with new ones. It also improves bike economy.
