I have a cyclocross bike and I need shoes/pedals. Where can I find something inexpensive?
I just got a cyclocross bike and I want clipless pedals along with shoes. Is there anywhere I can go to get something inexpensive?
The main use of this bike is for a daily commute of about 20 mins.
Go online to eBay and look at Wellgo pedals. They are clones of some more expensive brands. The cleats will come with the pedals.
And I usually don’t suggest this, but go to a cycling shop and try on shoes. If they have a good price, great, please buy them there. However, also check eBay and a site called www.bestbikebuys.com. It’s a bike parts search site. Also, check www.rei.com
Bicycle shoes are a personal fit, just like any other shoe. I don’t suggest that you buy a pair sight unseen.
