Can I fit hub gears to a single speed bike?
I have an old malvern star step-through bike which is just what I want, fitwise but it’s single speed and not good for my needs. Because of the rear axle length, it’s not possible to put external gears on.
you may find it easier to buy a new bike due to buying a multi geared wheel. find out how much each would cost and work from there.
