Mountain Bike Finance For The Perfect Bike
mountain biking is a very popular sport with many different types of mountain biking possible, so there are loads of different types of mountain bike on the market. Which type of bike you choose will be determined by the riding style you prefer. This article is intended as a basic guide to choosing between the different bikes available. If you need help paying for your new bike, look into the mountain bike finance deals that many companies offer.
1. Cross country
Most of the mountain bikes on the market could be called cross country. Cross country mountain bikes are Light Weight, making them easy to ride over most terrains, even up and down hills. You can even use the bike for commuting or casual rides with younger children as they are sturdier than road bikes.
2. Downhill
There is an adrenaline involved with downhill mountain biking, and experienced riders tend to prefer this variation. most bikes of this kind have dual suspension, disc brakes and strong parts. most riders like to customise their own bikes of this kind.
3. Trials
The technical people out there will enjoy trail biking as it involves precision and skill. Similar to downhill bikes, trial riders will often build their own bikes rather than purchase one off a shelf. Generally very light and very strong, these bikes require a lot of discipline.
4. Jump and slalom
Slalom and jump bikes are very strong and designed for jumping, street racing, and slalom. Most jump bikes come with front suspension as standard and are made from tough materials like carbon steel. Mountain biking integrates jumps and slaloms so many avid riders will add a jump bike to their collection.
Whether you’ve never got on a bike in your life or you have been riding for years, mountain biking is so much fun. Your riding style, size and gender will determine which bike you buy. Try out several bikes in the shop, many have an indoor testing area so you can get a feel for the bike before you buy one.
