What’s the best brand of black lipstick?
I need some black lipstick but I haven’t been able to find a brand that doesn’t wear off too easily. I either need to know how to make it stay on longer or a better brand. Also, how do I keep my black eyeshadow from coming off within 5 seconds of putting it on?
Black lipstick is pretty hard to find, but a convenient, reeeeeallly good one is mac style black collection
and their lipsticks arent even that expensive, they are about $14.
an eyeshadow base is the definite answer to make your shadow stay on longer. try UDPP (urban decay primer potion) it is sold at sephora, and everyone says it is the best eyeshadow base around. however, there are other ones at sephora like too faced shadow inssurance. they also have paint pots at mac that act as a base.
however, if you are looking for something cheap for halloween, i know that wet n’ wild cosmetics comes out with a halloween brand of makeup every year around this time. it is called “Fantasy Makers.” black lipstick is included in the collection. they are just at most a couple dollars, and you can find them like at any drugstore (i found mine at walgreens)
also, if you are wearing the black eyeshadow just for halloween, you may want to find a cheaper alternative for a base. Urban Decay Primer Potion at sephora is amazzzzing, but it is $16. I think it is a great buy anyway, but if you dont think you will use eyeshadow base after halloween, then you can make a DIY base. just put some liquid concealer on the eyelid and set it with your powder. then apply your black eyeshadow.
however, if it is not for halloween and you are ok with spending a little more money, I highly recommend MAC style black collection lipstick in Black Knight, and UDPP (urban decay primer potion) at sephora.
