have i been scamed by my car garage? brake pads – uk?
i recently got my brake pads changed. when i looke at the pads they are metalic silver in colour and the colour comes off when touched, it appears to be silver metalic in colour and is greasy.
however the brake pads are covered in a metalic silver grease/paint. have they just tightened the pads and coloured them or is it standard procedure to cover the brake pads with a silver grease?
The brakes are not as sharp as they were
is this a scam?
cant tell without a pictures
sometimes pads are coats with a special lubricant to keep down squeaking..but I think its copper not silver
