Can you hook an Xbox 360 up to a Bright House HD cable box?
I’ve read that you should use HDMI to connect the Xbox to a sound receiver, and that in return sends the video to the TV. But the problem with that is I can’t get behind my receiver. On the back of my Bright House HDTV cable box, there is a spot for component cables, my question is, can I just hook the component cables up and the cable box send all the info to the receiver and then the HDTV??? Thanks for reading.
No, cable box only has component outputs , not inputs. You should connect video cables directly to TV and optical cable from Xbox to receiver for audio.
