The Ford Flex combines characteristics from both a minivan and SUV making it a very unique crossover that is great for a large number of consumers. Unveiled in 2005 the Flex hit the road in 2008 replacing the Ford Freestar becoming the star of Ford’s ‘electrify the night’ campaign.
The Flex is offered in four trim levels: SE, SEL, Limited, and Titanium.

The Flex Titanium has all the features the Limited offers, plus: charcoal black leather-trimmed seats, illuminated scruff plates, unique blackout treatment for headlights and taillights, fog lamps, 3-bar unique grille, black painted roof, and 20-inch polished alloy rims.
The Ford Flex has everything you could ask for in a crossover SUV, the interior options include: 6-way power, heated passenger seat fold-flat front passenger seatback, dual-zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control, Sony® Audio System with 12 Speakers, memory feature for driver seat and power-adjustable foot pedals, sliding front visors with dual-illuminated vanity mirrors, power windows, front row center console, analog gauges, analog clock, painted alloy metallic on center IP finish panel, and power window switch bezel.
When it comes to power and handling the Flex will not let you down; with a 3.5L DOHC, twenty-four-valve Duratec® V6 engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, Front Wheel Drive, independent front and Rear Suspension, AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control™, four-wheel disc Anti-lock Brake System, and power rack-and-pinion steering.
The Flex has many exterior features including, rear window defroster with 2-speed wiper/washer, Easy Fuel™ – capless fueling system, bright polished dual exhaust tips, black belt line molding on sides and liftgate, power, heated mirrors with memory feature, and a unique greenhouse FLEX badge on leading edge of the hood.
The Ford Flex is defiantly designed with safety in mind; safety features include, Front Passenger Sensing System, Safety Canopy® System, perimeter anti-theft alarm, SecuriCode™ Keyless Entry Keypad on driver’s door, and illuminated entry with theater dimming lighting.
Family shoppers with a need to carry both people and cargo, but have a desire to stay away from the plain minivan, should strongly consider the Ford Flex.
