care tips for carbon bike parts?
does anyone know the best way to look after the laquer(clear coat) on carbon bike parts….just silicon polish(non scratch) or something better
Carbon clear coat is similar to automotive clear coat. Just use a basic wax or spray polish and you should be fine.
If your carbon is your exhaust cans, hopefully they are quality ones like an Akra or Sato or other top brand. Some of the cheaper carbon cans will get a yellowish tint to them after a short time because of the heat generated through them. Nothing you put on them or clean them with will help this… just something you live with for a cheap can.
