Eastenders: If Heather has carbon monoxide poisoning, why is the baby alright?
I assume, as George is Heather’s baby, he actually lives in the same flat as her so why isn’t he showing the same symptoms as Heather?
Are babies immune to carbon monoxide poisoning or is this yet another case of bad writing?

This is the same as the fire in The Vic, the fire in Hollyoaks & the fire in Corrie.
All three had babies, or small children, who miraculously survived smoke filled rooms unscathed, while adults with them ended up seriously ill from smoke inhalation.
When these things happen in the real world, small children & babies are always the first to die, because of their size it only takes a little of the poisonous fumes to kill them.
Heather keeps saying that she feels tired & has a headache, so she is already being poisoned.
George shouldn’t have the same symptoms, he should be a much worse state, if not dead already.
There’s poetic license & there’s just getting things wrong.
When EastEnders first started, this is exactly the sort of story they did so well.
