How To Fix Xbox 360 Red Light Blinking Error
Xbox bottom left light blinks Game systems like the Xbox 360 are no different than a computer. They need to be kept cool, well ventilated and free from dust. When they start to suffer from poor airflow or dust gets into the system they start to overheat. As the Xbox starts to overheat all sorts of errors appear and you need to find out how to fix an Xbox 360.
#1 The display starts to break up and become pixilated.
#2 Errors start to appear on your display, such as the E74 error code or similar errors.
#3 Eventually the three red lights will appear around the3 power button.
These three red lights are known simply as the red ring of death. This is because once this appears the system is likely to fail. Unless quick action is taken. xbox 360 manual
You may ask yourself, red ring of what. It is simple really. When you are looking at the front of your Xbox 360 game console there are four small colored lights that surround the power button for the system. If everything is running properly they are generally lit green when the system is running.
If there are any problems with the system, it tells you by either lighting of blinking a series of yellow or red lights at you. If the top 2 and the bottom left one are blinking red you are experiencing the red ring of death.
From this point your have two options available to you. You can ship it back to microsoft for diagnosis and repair. Even if the system is under warranty, it’s going to require that you spend the money on shipping and then wait for the system to be returned to you.
If it is out of warranty you have another option for how to fix an Xbox 360. You can repair it yourself and you need the following tools.
* flat head screwdriver.
* One philips screwdriver.
* T8 screwdriver and T10 screwdriver.
These will enable you to open your xbox then you just need to make sure the x-clamps and the heatsink are secure, the best way to do is to to remove them and put them back on again. xbox error e 74 repair
