Can you use a Sora derailleur with a 28T cog?
I want to upgrade to a sora derailleur but it states that the largest cog size is 27T, but i have a 11-28, are they just being on the safe side or will the jockey pulley rub the cog?
Just in case you need to know i have a triple chain ring with a chain wrap of 37.
chain ring is 28-38-48
rear 11-28
You should be able to get away with a one tooth difference by adjusting the ” B ” screw. Read this article. You can always buy a mountain bike derailleur if it doesn’t work.
