I just bought a bmx bike diamondback Venom..and basically im trying to get knowlege on good aftermarket parts.?
Im new to this whole thing and I know there are hundreds of parts. Im using the bike to ride to work on a daily bases about 4 miles, I wanna get there fast and I need reliable parts for hard riding. The bike seems durable by looking at it but I want to modify it to make it better..any tips would be highly appreciated!!…oh yea I have the grey with black rims…
You don’t need any aftermarket parts just for riding. Even Diamondback’s are made for at least 4-5 foot drops to flat ground. Just keep it as is. If something breaks, replace it with something cheap. You don’t need strong parts.
I also agree with the other answerer. If you bought it to ride to work, you bought the complete wrong type of bike. BMX bikes are made for withstanding drops and tricks, not for riding long distances.
