Why use extra-large moving box?
The removal agencies use various types of moving boxes to pack household and office goods in transit. Extra large moving boxes are used to store heavier and sturdier items.
It’s often seen that the articles of a single room are very carefully packed in one or two extra large moving boxes. This is possible only when goods of common or similar nature are packed together without the requirement of a number of large or medium size boxes. It is advised not to keep delicate or breakable articles in extra large boxes along with other articles. However, the glass items can be fit in such boxes in case the house under removal has a huge bulk of such items. The boxes must be filled with goods in such a manner that it can be managed during shipping and does not get damaged due to over burden.
The normal size of each box is 23 X 23 X 16 inches. The extra large moving boxes are often accompanied by packing accessories like tape, tape dispenser, heavy duty cable zip ties and marker pen either included in the cost or provided free of cost. The box supplier websites provide easy options for the delivery of these boxes which can be home delivered or discounts offered on self-collection. Some online dealers allow free shipping if it is bought in bulk.
Usually, an extra large moving box is manufactured using 100% eco-friendly material. It has double thickness that makes it reliable and durable. It is modular and can be used as multi-purpose packing and storing item.
