Is there a better way to reuse Scentstories air freshener disks?
I’ve got one of those Febreze Scentstory players, and they work pretty well. The disks are on the pricey side, but you can kind of reuse them by combining partially used ones. You just open them up, soften up the used stuff in each section of the cartridge with some water and then combine some compatible scents to make a full section. Does anybody know what the gooey stuff is, so I can make my own with some essential oils?

I always just pour some Downey Fabric softener on them and it smells up the whole house.
