The Best Wii Games: Mario Kart
If you’re looking for a challenging and fun racing game that your whole family can enjoy, then look no further than Mario Kart for the Wii console. Wii car race games generally include the Wheel Wii accessory, as well as graphics and movability that are very similar to driving a real go kart. The Mario Kart franchise has been around since the Nintendo 64 console came out, and was updated for the Gamecube console. The first step in your Mario Kart journey is to choose your character. As in life, you can choose to be good or evil. The characters you can choose from are Baby Mario, Dry Bones, Mario, Toad, Baby Peach, Koopa Troopa, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, Diddy Kong, Waluigi, Wario, King Boo, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Bowser or your own creation. The characters are all interesting in their own way. Just as Walt Disney did when he created his characters starting with Mickey Mouse, Nintendo has expanded its characters from the Mario series, all the way back to the Mario 64 days, and even earlier. These qualities keep the name Mario well ensconced with each generation of gamers and makes this one of the top Wii games.
After you have chosen your character and your car, it’s time to pick the race you want to run. Choose your circuit racetracks from new or old tracks; some are recycled from Super Nintendo, Gameboy, Game Cube and Nintendo DS formats, and of course there are new tracks designed specifically for the Wii console. Each circuit shows a map of the track on the right of the screen. Try not to watch that too closely though, or you may get wiped out by obstacles. This interaction makes it one of the best Wii games you can buy.
You will enjoy the wonderful Wii graphics, the competitive tracks, fast-paced gaming and everything else this Nintendo thriller has to offer. You can do skill-based missions or alternatively, you can decide to go on a Grand Prix circuit. In this game, you can play in battle arenas, plus there are a large number of other tracks from which to choose.
