NEW STYLES HIDE THE FAULTS, AND FLAUNT THE CURVES
The onset of summer is a great mood-lifter, but that can quickly turn when it comes to looking for new swimwear.
Women are obsessed with their bodies, according to a report in the Daily Mail which covered a survey by cosmetics company, Garnier.Researchers surveyed three thousand women (between 18-40) in the UK, Australia and the US, and found that 7% thought about their bodies 50 times a day and 20% thought about it 10 times a day.
Tummies and posteriors were the least favourite areas. Forty six percent of women surveyed said they would prefer to be flatter and firmer around the middle with 20 per cent dreaming of a better-looking rear end.Other parts of the body are also a source of unhappiness, with 10% not happy with their breasts, 14% not happy with their legs and 4% wanting to change the way their arms look.
Little wonder then, that most women can’t bear shopping for new swimwear.
However, there is one manufacturer who understands the market and who is making swimwear that fits and flatters.Buying from Perth swimwear company, Viva Swimwear, isn’t a horrible experience as they have listened to their customers’ feedback and needs, and have designed styles and shapes to suit everyone.
Longer tankini tops sized from 10 to 18 with ruching on the sides to hide some of the midriff problem areas are among the new season styles. A new halter style top with soft cups allows women to select their own support. These swim tops can also be used by women who’ve had mastectomies as they can insert their own pads into the halter cups.
Some of the colour combinations for the new season are pink and brown, black and white and purple and black. In the chlorine-resistant swimwear range, Viva Swimwear’s new colours for summer include purple and teal.And the new tie-side swimwear bottoms will appeal to younger wearers, especially in the new range of fashion colours.
And if you don’t like being under the spotlight in a shop change room, Viva Swimwear has upgraded its website to include front and back views of its items.Now that’s a good example of customer service in action.
Another popular look for the new season is to match swimwear with wraps or cover-ups.Create an elegant, fresh look with fashionable kaftans, dresses, tops and pants. And as the larger woman knows, these have been impossible to find – until now.The company keeps a wide range of wraps and cover-ups which are specially made, and which come in sizes up to 26.
The company is also busy developing a innovative swimwear range for Muslim women which will be in chlorine-resistant fabric, and are also developing a range of full control swimwear for the fuller bodied woman.
The new season styles for women of all shapes and sizes, even plus size swimwear, will ensure that everyone has fun in the sun.
