As a dad I purchased this small bicycle planning it could help my toddler and probably even my 7 year old learn to bike with no their training wheels and with no trauma of crashing. My 7 year old already had the balance, but lacked the self confidence. This Strider fit the bill perfectly!
It was exciting to watch her quickly learn how to steadiness and glide further and further each try. Actually within 30 minutes and even trading off with her brother, she had figured out the right way to balance and glide down our simple front yard and out into the neighborhood. When she was playing I took her training tires off of her different bike. She hopped on it, adequate a bit of a push she was riding! She giggled as she rode and said “this is just like the Strider!” Very simple! My 4 year old is moving on rapidly too.
