How can I fix my slightly broken Bose QuietComfort 2 headset?
After few years of use headset still works fine, but the plastic parts connecting the top arch of the headset to the ear parts are cracked.
I don’t want to spend another $250 just because of these simple plastic parts.
Is there any way to fix this problem?
Can I buy from Bose or anyone else just these plastic parts?
I don’t think glue will help, it’s already falling in pieces.
The best GLUE made is made by LOCTITE..its called Super Glue..its an AGE Restricted product..so you may need to bring your parents to the store to purchase some..//..when I need to repair a “break”..I hope to use a splint–that helps apply a larger BONDING Area..useing Super Glue can be dangerous because it does bond tissue(human skin)..it require a cautious person to use it..but..look at the BREAK–where is there a area that a secondary piece can be glued like a Splint–??–this is the best BOND–instead of filling the break w/Super Glue..this technique can be used with other glue products..but may fail over time..Super Glue and a splint works the best..and is ready to use in 5-minutes.
