The Action Pack Suzuki ATV
The Suzuki company was the manufacturer of the first production 4-wheel ATV in the world. The Suzuki LT-125 ATV was the one who started it all. This pioneering dirt wheeler transformed the fast growing ATV industry and started the wonder years of Suzuki ATVs. It was very popular because of its versatility. We can trace the evolution of Suzuki ATVs by looking back at the models that followed the production of the LT-125. Due to growing demands for more powerful ATV models, Suzuki innovated and produced models with higher displacements. Additional features aside from having more CCs were also seen in the Suzuki ATV repair manuals of the more recent models. The Quadracer 250 was the next model to the LT-125 and was developed in 1985, the Quadracer 500 in 1986, Kingquad in 1991, Eiger 400 in 2002, Quadsport Z400 in 2002 also, Kingquad 700 in 2004, and the Quadracer R450 in 2006.

The 1985 Quadracer 250 according to its Clymer Repair Manuals, was the first ATV model in the world to have a 2-stroke engine mounted on it. Its sporty features were based on the Suzuki RM250 motocross bike. Additional features include a long travel suspension; very Light Weight, snappy power, wheels made of aluminium, hydraulic disc brakes, manual clutches and a kick starter. The 1986 Quadracer on the other hand had the largest displacement of all the ATVs available in the market that time. This model was more preferred by racers. As the competition in the ATV industry gets tougher, the Suzuki Company includes more interesting and fun features on their more recent models that have been mentioned above. Even though there are already several companies that manufacture ATVs today, nothing can beat the original.
