The ZDX: Acura’s Rebel

Rather than using a static table of time and mileage to keep track of maintenance, the ZDX Maintenance Minder™ system configures service needs based on how the vehicle is driven and not just how many miles it is driven. It checks motor operating conditions, such as stop-and-start traffic and frequent short trips. It helps coordinate oil service dates and other maintenance check-ups to minimize your trips to the service department. In the unlikely event your ZDX has a malfunction, the onboard monitoring system will detect it and use AcuraLink® to relay analytical codes to your dealer for further examination. Having a Bluetooth®-enabled phone with the HandsFreeLink® profile further simplifies the ZDX’s convenient onboard monitoring system, giving you the ability to contact your dealer directly. The best part is when your ZDX is in the dealer’s service bay, repair technicians can plug into its onboard monitoring system directly to pinpoint issues.
