Hello Kitty has swooned the hearts of girls of all ages the world over. Hello Kitty themed accessories range from bags, bangles, books, stickers, toys, clothes, almost everything you can think of and now even a Hello Kitty themed bicycle. The Hello Kitty themed bikes have become such a rage that they have single-handedly sky-rocketed the annual sales at UK retailers such Halfords.
The bike is obviously pink and has curves at the right places. The seat is padded, large and comfortable. It has white colored cushioning with a picture of Hello Kitty. The bell with the Hello Kitty sticker has become a rage in itself and has been a hot-selling item. Bike enthusiasts and girls of all ages have been attaching the Hello Kitty bell on their own bikes. The bike’s color combination is a perfect mix of white and pink. Even the black tires have Hello Kitty grooves on them.
The smallest size for the youngest girls starts at 3-4 years old – the Ballet Cruiser. It comes with training wheels. The next size is for 4-5 year olds – the Ballet. There are a lot of options for the age group of 8-11 year olds – Ballet MTB, Cruise Flower, Ballet Cruiser and Cruise. For adults there is the Hello Kitty Cruise bike and its variant the Hello Kitty Cruise Flower bike. There is a Hello Kitty themed bike for even the tough fitness enthusiast. Because even a tough fitness enthusiast girl has a little Hello Kitty fan hiding inside.
The Hello Kitty ‘Cruise’ bike is of standard size for riding by adolescents but a smaller kid-sized bike is also available on the market. Nothing would bring glee on the face of a little girl than seeing a brand new pink Hello Kitty bicycle gifted to them. The joy it provides might be the equivalent of a little boy getting the latest gaming console. Or for that matter, the joy of this gift might compete with the joy a woman feels upon wearing her wedding gown.
Then there is a medium sized version for riding by 6-8 year olds, which has the same colors, a basket in the front and a bag at the side. The beauty of the bike doesn’t come at the expense of safety and the frame is made from hi-tensile steel. The designers have installed pink mudguards to protect the children’s clothes knowing full well that kids don’t think twice about venturing into muddy roads or puddles. The Hello Kitty bell is a standard attachment in this version too. The saddle is decorated with Hello Kitty designs.
The children size versions even have a doll-carrier at the back and a removable purse bag at the front. Safety is ensured with coaster brakes and a low frame so that kids can get on and off the bike easily. The tire tubes are oversized to ensure further safety. Hello Kitty graphics are inserted at every available space, because kids just can’t seem to have enough of the cute kitty. The bike is easily assemble-able.
