Deer Valley Ski Resort: One Of The Best In The US
Although some of the best skiing in the United States can be found at Aspen Colorado ski resorts, Deer Valley Ski Resort in Park City, Utah is a great place to not only get in some skiing or snowboarding, but can also make a great place to take a summer vacation.
Established in the year 1981, it is famous in the world of skiing. It is also famous for its highly accommodating services to tourists. From 2001 to 2005, the readers of the Ski Magazine rated it as the number one resort in America.
Deer Valley Ski Resort has become a very popular spot for families to vacation, as it is suitable for virtually all levels of skiing and snowboarding proficiency. It also has a famous café and fashionable, comfortable accommodations. If you choose to book your reservations online, you will find that there are often deals given strictly for online reservations. The accommodations offered in the Park City area are abundant, with a style and price range for every family.
Deer Valley Ski Resort has some impressive features such as the 3000 foot vertical drop, 91 trails, 21 lifts and an elevation of almost 10,000 feet. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and winter wilderness, the resort is also a perfect place for a holiday to hold special events of any kind. Not just restricted to skiers, is a popular place to hold weddings, banquets and all sorts of other special functions.
Although Deer Valley is understandably less active during the summer months, it is still a terrific place for a family summer holiday. They have plenty of trails for mountain bike enthusiasts and hikers, as well as excellent views for those who simply enjoy nature’s beauty. A great advantage to going in the summer, aside from less tourists, is that the booking is a great deal cheaper at this time of year.
