What should i do with my disc brakes of my mountain bike?
I have a La sovereign – spectrum mountain bike It has problem in its disc brakes.When i apply brakes it doesn’t stop immideately.I cannot do a stoppie.I adjusted the brakes but it did not work.All this happened after i washed my bike.1 month has passed and it has even dried,HELP ME OUT
You could have contaminated your brake pads. Some of them are unbelievably sensitive. You may have to replace the brake pads. Take your bike to the bike shop.
Also: I would recommend not washing your bike. If you live in an area where you must wash your bike, never point the hose directly at your bike. Instead, use a bucket. Put a little soap in, and add some water; use a sponge to clean your bike. Then put clean water in the bucket, and use the sponge again to get the soap off your bike. You don’t want water to get into the bearings on your bike. So never spray your bike with a hose.
