cycling: what parts of my mtb bike should i clean?
like i already have stuff for my chain
but can you give me a list of stuff?
such as derailleur, cables, frame….or is that all?
like what should i use too,. can you give me a link for each like

as this is my first time actually cleaning it and putting lube, etc.
You can get everything you need to clean you mountain bike in a kit to start you out and then, as you get more familiar with the process and what you tend to dirty up the most, you can pick up a lot of the stuff for much cheaper from elsewhere. For example, a small container of degreaser will run you $10-12 from a bike shop but you can get Zepp citrus degreaser for like $12-15 a gallon at places like Costco and such.

And… you should also have a good dedicated chain cleaner as well. You just add some degreaser to it and follow the instructions before you re-lube your chain and it’ll keep things running smooth…

Good luck and happy trails… and remember, if you ride a full suspension bike make sure you never turn a high pressure hose on your pivot bearings and, on any bike, the same holds true for your Bottom Bracket area. It’ll compromise the seals and wear out your bearings super fast!
