Is riding downhill bikes ok with this?
Is riding downhill bikes with clipless pedals a good idea? I usually just ride clipless with my normal MTB, and want to get into downhill eventually. So is clipless a good idea, or should I learn with normal pedals?
You don’t need clipless pedals on a down hill bike. You are not going to be pedaling that much. If you want clipless get something like Shimano M545 or M647 pedals they have a large enough surface area to use without clipping in when you don’t want to. I would run as little tension as possible.
