how do i make my marzocchi allmountain 1 eta 2006 forks with post mount have a 185mm disc?
my marzocchi 2006 forks with post mount take a 160mm disc and i want to fit an 180mm-185mm disc but my new disc wont fit? i need some sort of adaptor but where do i get one from? i need one for the front and one for the back. plz help a.s.a.p.
Trust me…you don’t want to!
From the type of forks you are using I am assuming that the type of riding you do is more trail/singletrack/northshore etc. In which case a rotor of this size is really not necessary! 180mm are only really appropriate for downhill riding (and also because large rotors on the back are infamous for eventually snapping weaker frames in two!) .
I suggest you look on www.chainreactioncycles.com and consider investing in a set of good quality hydraulic brakes in the size you arleady have. I would really recommend Avid. The 3 or 5 models are some of the best around for very reasonable prices- and they will stop you just as well as a large rotor!
