how do you become a pro BMX rider? how do you get sponsored? how do you get known by sponsors?
hey i really love biking but someday i wana go pro. also how do you become pro? how do you get sponsors and how are they going to know about you? how can you get known? also how much do usual bmxers get paid? do you need like a special degree? are they like football and check if you went to high school and college and etc.?
This is the quick and dirty. I answered this question in a good amount of detail about skateboarding a while back, but it works the same way for BMX.
Getting sponsors – Check with a local bike shop about getting sponsored. Use sponsorhouse.com. Compete in every comp possible. Companies looking for riders go to comps.
Pay depends on the sponsors. Unless you are the best of the best, most pro riders have another job.
There is no degree or education check required. You could turn pro at 10 or 30.
