Can you be an NFL player and Pro Track Athlete at the same time?
NFL Season usually starts in September and ends in January and Pro Track Season starts in late February and ends in July-August. Do you think its possible to do both? What about the the training conflicts and what are other problems that come with it? I was just wondering if sprinters like Maurice Greene, Justin Gatlin were good in football and played in NFL. You will get a lot of points and please explain your answer. Thanks!
I guess its allowed but i dont think it would be a smart move for anyone. First, you would have no break, no time to spend with your family, since you would be training constantly. And i dont think any track star would last a day gettin hit the way football players do, and so there careers would be much shorter, meaning less $$$. But technecly i guess u could do it. I dont think it would be wise, but u never no till u try. I think a pinch hitter and a sprinter would go well together.
