goalies what shinguards do you use?
okay so i play goalie in soccer and i need to get new shinguards because on the new NOCSAE regulations, and because mine are really old. so ive always gotten the kind that have the connecting ankle protection, but i noticed my whole club team has the ones without the ankle protector. mine are very annoying during tournaments cause theyre a pain to take on and off between game breaks so i usually just leave them on when everyone else takes them off. but anyways the reason im not sure if i should get the ones without the ankle attachment is because im afraid they will fall out when i slide or dive. usually when i do my sock end up down and the velcro strap is undone. i know you can tape them and they have special sleeves but i feel like that will come undone or slide down also. so goalies what type of shinguards do you wear and how do you prevent them from falling out? or field players do you know what your goalies do?
or theyre the law..i dunno
I once wore ankle protection ones because if you twist your ankle or do anything bad with it,you won’t be able to play for your team.
