What will they think of next?
As if metallic green, blue, and purple were not enough, Fujifilm has taken it to the next level with the introduction of a pink polka dotted camera!
What will teenage girls do now that the plain pink camera that Daddy bought for them last year is so, like, five minutes ago?
What will advanced picture takers who have had their Nikon D300s anodized pink (at great expense) do to keep up with the latest trends?
But semi-seriously, what do you think will be the next pointless marketing gimmick employed by camera manufacturers to lure their fan base to toss out last year’s camera like it was yesterday’s garbage because they just can’t resist the “gotta have it” factor of the latest model?

οίνου, they already have cameras that detect a smile and take the photo at the optimum moment. I think, if it doesn’t already exist, that they will soon make cameras with cross-platform compatibility. Transferring files between other cameras, phones, and electronic devices wirelessly. Added document viewers and web browsers. The only thing I don’t think they’ll add (at least to SLR’s) is a calling plan. Because who the hell wants to hold that up to their face with whatever lens you happen to have on it while in the middle of trying to shoot?
