Why Sunglasses Should Be On The Christmas List
It seems like a strange thing to be saying but believe it or not the Christmas break could be a key time to wear the sunglasses when out and about. But why is this?

Believe it or not there are still harmful rays pushing through those clouds and hitting the earth’s surfaces. Just because it is cold on a sunny day it doesn’t mean that the sun isn’t as powerful so make sure that if the sun is out you are wearing those designer sunglasses as they will really help you out. It is always best just to pop them on when it is sunny as the damage caused on the eyes by the sun can be really bad.
How on earth can the sun come through and damage the eyes on a cold day?
Well the thing is, UV rays are actually invisible meaning there is no way you can tell if they are pushing through or not. Do not go too far with it though, there is simply no need to wear them if it is chucking it down outside but take them with you if it is cloudy in case the sun breaks through. What happens is that the UV light goes into the eyes and cause a reaction in the tissue. Once this damage has been done there is no way it can be reversed which is why it is so important that you wear those ray ban sunglasses.

- Age- Related Macular Degeneration
So as you can see it is certainly worth getting those sunglasses out. If you already where glasses then do not worry as you can get prescription sunglasses that are made for the sun!
So in the chilly season this year make sure that you have your sunglasses in your pocket at the very least to make sure the eyes are fully protected.
