Can you help me find this part for my bike?
Hi folks, I’m looking for a stem for my bike and can’t find one anywhere. All the shops stock are ones like these

which clamp on to the frame.

it only has like a half stem that attachs onto an adjuster which is part of the frame.
Can anyone help me find this part as its a nightmare without my bike, thanks
hey i went and took some photo’s as I’m confusing you guys and you are confusing me. the first two are the bike frame with stem off and the second two are the stem bit i’m looking for. hope this helps

I am guessing your fork is setup with a threaded headset. You can tell because there are two large nuts that are threaded to the fork stem. A quill handlebars stem is called for. You can still buy quill handlebar stems. See first link.
Or, you can buy a quill adaptor. See second link. This will allow you to install any of the current threadless handlebar stems on the market.
If I am correct, it doesn’t say much for you local bike shops.

PS the handlebar stem shown in your first link will fit your bike shown on the second link. This has me quite puzzled. Nice bike, by the way. If I am off base here, please explain further.
EDIT.
You have threaded headset. You have a quill stem. Angle of the stem is adjustable. This type came stock on a lot of hybrid bikes. And yes, you will have a tough time finding a replacement. I suggest purchasing the quill stem adaptor and a threadless stem. Will work A-OK. Click on last link. You can post your question and pictures to the good people of Harris Cyclery.
