how to adjust my pedals?

I recently bought the Ritchey comp v4 pedals for my bike. It is my first set of clippless pedals. When i got them they don’t seem to move very easily.(my platform pedals would spin for 10-15 sec) I was wondering if this is normal for these pedals which i don’t think it is and what should i do.

Your old pedals spin that long because they no longer have grease in them. Your new pedals will get free-er the more you use them but if they spin more then 3-4 seconds it’s time to re grease them.
