Mazda5 Sport rear tyres uneven wear and poor road handling. Is this safe?
My car needed new rear tyres but only a very small area on the inner edge was worn and the rest of the tyre had lots of tread left. If the weight is only on such a small area of the tyre, surely this cannot give good road grip. I have always found that the rear end tends to slip easily in the wet etc- even when the tyres were new. The dealers tell me this is normal for the car and nothing to worry about. Has anyone experienced and had this corrected?
You need to get the geometry checked by a specialist and the dealer is giving you a load of bull.
