need advice on shimano XT V brakes?
i am upgrading my bike to XT front/rear derailleur and XT V brakes. some negative reviews on XT V brakes is confusing me. any pros and cons you suggest? thanks in advance.
There is nothing wrong with the XT brakes, the only thing you might have issues with is the pad compound. But this is not a brake design problem but just a matter of matching the compound to the type of riding you do, and unfortunately this sometimes causes the brake to get bad reviews when it was just a matter of having the right pad.
