which type of shimano V-brake works the best?
eg: decore LX, XTR………
The XTR’s work the best when it comes to V-Brakes. The XT’s work great also, but for some strange reason the XT’s squeal a lot when braking. All of my friends and myself all had XT V-brakes squeal when the brakes were applied? We tried to toe in, toe out, flip them around, other than adding oil (Just Kidding) these brakes love to squeak. Some people changed pads with good results. Freaky thing, because the XTR and XT look almost identical, other than the color. Anyway, just my 2 cents. = )
