I do not Drink Pina Colada
At this time I smell like pina colada, and that’s a lttle bit disconcerting for a Baptist minister.
Because the dirt on the exterior was soiling my clothes and the rubbish on the inside made it hard to work the pedals, I decided today to have my vehicle cleaned. And I just so happened to receive a ticket for one free carwash. Few months ago I pulled to the car wash at the time they were refitting some devices, therefore the apologetic attendant gifted me a number of free passes for my trouble. That was good. Generally after i pull into the spot, they make a hard sell for extras. But normally I stay inexpensive. Presently, however, for some odd motive I was convinced to choose the luxurious special, The Works. Each imaginable part of my car would be cleaned and shined, protectants and emmoliants added, and the allusion made that my Chevy Aveo would somehow be changed into a high-class vehicle. And all for an extra $11.95- it was just too good to pass up!
The attendant inquired what fragrance I preferred?
I inquired about pizza and got the mistrust he regarded me a smarty pants. He rattle off a list of the fragrances, and what recorded in my head was pina colada. Now I understand almost nothing about pina colada, or any other alcoholic drink. I’m by choice a teetotaler, and happy with it. And it’s waited of most Baptist pastors. But I realize the pina colada tune with the catchy ditty. Therefore i was curious how it would smell.
Driving outside the car park, the cocoanutty-fruity smell was quite effective. It was a rather good sensation, making me take into consideration some of the fruit concoctions my wife likes because they are supposed to be healthy. But when I got out of the vehicle to make a hospital appointment, the smell moved with me. Evidently the attendant sprayed a good amount of the stuff, even in the driver’s seat. Probably he recognized I was a pastor, from the Bible and bulletins, and supposed it would be comic for me to go around smelling like an alcoholic drink? No. It had been my fault for being so silly. I could have strolled around for the rest of the day smelling like cherry, pine, as well as popcorn. But I deciced on pina colada.
It’s now 3 hours later, and my workplace has the aroma of pineapple, cocoanut, and rum. It’s a fine smell. I’ll be in trouble if it smells in such a way tomorrow.
