Best Mountain Bike Hardtail
Diamondback Recoil Full Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels) is a rock-solid trail bike built around an extremely reliable optimized single-pivot travel full suspension frame. Enter the Diamondback Overdrive 29er mountain bike, which boasts bigger wheels and even bigger value compared to most other bikes. The Overdrive is built using the same super-snappy and responsive aluminum frame found on the Overdrive Pro and comes equipped with smooth-operating components It handles extremely well on all sorts of terrain.
Not to be outdone or overshadowed by its older brother, the Recoil Comp, the Recoil is a great bike in its own right, but at a slightly more affordable price. The Recoil is built up on the same heat-treated aluminum 4-inch trail frame as the Recoil Comp, but also offers such features as an SR Suntour XCT 75mm fork, Promax 320 mechanical disc brakes, SRAM X.4 eight-speed Trigger Shifters, an X.4 rear derailleur, and a WTB Pure V sport saddle. Add it all together and you have a bike that’s a little easier on your wallet, but not at the expense of either performance or quality.
The bike is capable downhill, downhilling is normally where you find its limitations. On your pure xc single track, this bike performed. When the dh’s got really rough, it was very apparent that this bike is an cross country bike and not an all mountain monster.Diamondback Recoil Full Suspension Mountain Bike (26-Inch Wheels) is a great looking bike. From the machining on the rockers to the welds this bike attracts attention. More importantly, the Diamondback Recoil has an incredible about of stand over clearance. On top of that the top tube is drawn so that you have more knee clearance while riding. I really liked this feature. The 26-Inch Wheels top tube seemed to fit perfectly and with the 110mm stem provided with the build all was set for xc machine. This bike performs flawlessly for what it was designed for fast, hammering xc single track.

From miles of rutted and rooty east coast trail torture to rock strewn high speed descents and the bike handled everything threw. In fact after a quick damp-rag wipe down, you would be hard pressed to tell that it had ever been ridden!..At a glimpse it looks pretty convincing as though to be constructed..Check here for review..
