Question for Subaru mechanics?
I just replaced the engine in my 2002 Forester. The engine runs fine but I am getting multiple DTC’s that don’t make sense.P0500 vehicle speed sensor malfunction, P1500 Radiator fan relay malfunction, P1590 Neutral position switch circuit high input, P1591 Neutral position switch low input. Every relay is cycling, the fans are kicking on and off , the air conditioner pump clutch is cycling and the Astrostart relay is cycling. Everything is hooked up right since all the wires are modular plugs and only fit one way and as a precaution I labeled everything. Would it be the ECU?
This is usually from the diagnostic connectors under the dash not being disconected after retreving CEL codes.
