Please help with bike suspension Fox Van R replacement? Urgent!?
I would like to buy Fox Van R rear shock. I have a Cannondale Prophet 3 bike with a Manitou Swinger back suspension. Will it fit? Which one is stronger, the 500 pound coil, the 400, or 300? Which one is higher quality, better suspension, and softer cushioning? Thank you so much!
I am pretty sure the Van R comes in varying lengths. You will have to google your Manitou and see what its Eye-to-Eye length is, then go to the Fox website and see if they offer a van with that length. It doesn’t have to be exact either, just a similar length, unless you are afraid it will throw off the geometry (which it might.) 500 is stiffer, meaning more efficient but wont suck up as many bumps. 300 is vice versa.
