im getting a 1985 raleigh team USA road bike from ebay, and i wanted a Carbon Fork. what size fork i need?
Hum…
More than likely, this bike has a 1″ threaded headset. It might not, however, have standard ISO threads. Many Raleigh bikes used a different thread pitch.
First thing to determine is if the bike uses a threaded headset. Then figure out if it is Raleigh threaded.
Bike Nashbar sells a carbon fork for threaded headsets. You’ll need to inquire whether it has ISO or Raleigh threads.
