According to my BBT chart, what day did I ovulate?
This is my first month charting… My periods had always been regular, but I never kept track of how many days. I just got off birth control and so I assumed that my cycle was 28 days like the little pill pack…my husband then pointed out to me that everyone’s cycle is 28 days on the pill(provided that’s the type you are on of course). What are the odds that my cycle really is 33 days like my chart is saying? I had figured I had ovulated on the 14th(based on a 28 day cycle)…now I’m thinking it wasn’t until later when the temp rise was. What do you think?

Your husband is correct. Womens cycles on pills are only that way because of the pill. Most womens cycles aren’t 28days. Anything from 21-40 is considered normal. Your chart looks exactly right. My cycle is 32 days and i ovulate on either cd17 or 18. If your cycle is 33 then you would ovulate either 18 or 19.
It is however assuming your luteal phase is 14days. Your luteal phase is the period of time from when you ovulate until when you start your period. 14 days is the average but it can range from 10-16days. So you might get your period earlier or later then day 33 it just depends on your luteal phase. Your luteal phase is the same every cycle no matter how long your cycle is. Just say your luteal phse is 14 then even if your cycle is 35 days the next month then your luteal phase will still be 14 making your ovulation 2 days later.
