Whats the difference between a 26Inch Wheel and a 700c track/fixie bike wheels?
So some guy is selling track wheels on eBay and he says they are 26inch wheels.
I don’t really understand the sizing of wheels, but I have always had a 700c X 28c wheel.
My bike is a 56cm track bike.
How different would a 26inch wheel be compared to the usual 700c’s I have?

A 26 inch wheel is smaller diameter than 700c. 26 inch wheels come in several different diameters as explained in this article: http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html
Because of the smaller diameter, if you put 26 inch wheels on a bike designed for 700c wheels, your pedals will be closer to the ground, a very bad idea on a fixed gear bike which you have to pedal all the time, increasing the chance your pedals will strike the ground in corners when you lean the bike over to turn. This can cause some nasty falls.
